Culverhill School

Culverhill special school provides a high quality and holistic education for approximately 135 pupils with complex learning difficulties aged 7-16, and is based in Yate, South Gloucestershire. It was judged to be ‘good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2022, and at the previous inspection in September 2016. Culverhill School admits learners from South Gloucestershire Local Authority and the surrounding areas.

New Siblands School

New Siblands special school caters for approximately 120 pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), who are aged 2-19 years. It was judged to still be ‘outstanding’ at its recent Ofsted inspection in February 2024.  New Siblands school occupies two sites in the market town of Thornbury, on the outskirts of Bristol and admits learners from South Gloucestershire Local Authority and the surrounding areas.

Two Bridges Academy - forecast to open September 2024

Two Bridges Academy will be an all-through special school for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in South Gloucestershire. The school will work closely with parents and the curriculum at Two Bridges Academy will be personalised to ensure all pupils achieve positive outcomes in cognition and learning and holistic development.
