Culverhill special school provides a high quality and holistic education for approximately 135 pupils with complex learning difficulties aged 7-16, and is based in Yate, South Gloucestershire. New Siblands special school caters for approximately 120 pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), who are aged 2-19 years. It was judged to still be ‘outstanding’ at its recent Ofsted inspection in February 2024.  New Siblands school occupies two sites in the market town of Thornbury, on the outskirts of Bristol and admits learners from South Gloucestershire Local Authority and the surrounding areas.
