Hub Operations and Business Manager

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and suitably experienced Hub Operations and Business Manager to join Enable Trust from 1st September 2021.

  • Start Date: 1st September 2021
  • Grade: 5
  • Salary: £36,922 - £39,880 per annum
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 37hrs per week, worked Mon-Fri. All year Round.

Enable Trust is a multi-academy trust of two special schools in South Gloucestershire. A third special school is in the planning stage and due to open in 2023. 

This role may be suitable for current School Business Managers or Operations Managers who are looking for a new challenge however we encourage anyone to apply who feels they have the necessary skills and abilities to fulfil the role.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the Hub Operations & Business Manager will manage the business and operational support services, specifically in relation to finance, health and safety, estates, HR, GDPR and administration across the two schools in the trust.  Whilst the role will be based within the Central Hub team at Culverhill School in Yate, the expectation is that the post holder will spend time on site at both schools and sites each week. 

The Hub Operations & Business Manager will work closely with the Headteacher of each school to ensure the day to day and long term effectiveness of the strategic and business operations within the schools and are effective and efficient across the Trust. The role is integral to the day to day and long term effectiveness of the school and trust’s operational and administrative functions. Ultimately, the success of this role ensures that school leaders have more time and resources to focus on the welfare and quality of education of the pupils and that across the Trust our schools operate effectively and efficiently.
